It is estimated that small business owners and the self-employed are
overpaying their taxes by $160 billion every year!
That only means one thing:
You are probably paying more taxes than you are legally obligated to without even knowing it!
That is why I have created the e-book, My Tax Tutor for Small Business Owners - What Every Small Business Owner Should Know About Their Taxes..
For less than the cost of dinner out for you and a friend, you can start saving just minutes from now. You would have to pay your tax professional hundreds of dollars for this same information.
Look, If you saved $4,000 a year on taxes and invested the money @ 11.5% for 30 years you would have . . . . TaDa . . . . $1,048,745.98!
Even cutting your taxes by $2,000 a year and investing as above would net you $542,372.99 – not too bad and it’s easier than you think.
In the “The Millionaire Next Door” Thomas Stanley and William Danko say that one of the three most common characteristics of millionaires in this country is that:
“Millionaires and those likely to become affluent in the future adhere to the important rule: To build wealth, minimize your taxable income.”
You are about to discover hundreds of small business tax tips, techniques and strategies, all designed to keep your hard earned money where it belongs, in your pocket. No matter what kind of business you own, full-time or part-time, out of your home or out of an office or store, this information applies to you.
Look, your tax return is only as good as you and your tax professional. How much time did you spend with your accountant last tax season? How many money saving tax tips did they give you? How often have they called you up out of the blue to give you a tax saving strategy? Okay, forget the accountant; YOU are responsible for your taxes.

Plus, the latest tax tips, tricks, techniques and strategies e-mail straight to your in-box every other week. These small nuggets of priceless information are designed to be quick to read, understand and implement.
AND quarterly updates, also straight to your in-box, so you will be one of the first business owners to know when the tax laws have changed and how you can use those changes to keep more of your hard earned dollars in your pocket.
This is not another book, hardbound, softbound, spiral-bound or otherwise – it is so much more. Every time a law changes that might affect your business, you will know about it. That is my promise to you.
You are lucky, you own a small business and . . . .
Owning your own small business is the best remaining tax shelter left in America.
Why? One of the reasons is that you can deduct all of the ordinary and necessary expenses of running your business even if you receive personal benefits, like:
1. A tax deferred retirement plan, up to $41,000 a year.
2. Employee benefit plans to receive tax free benefits – like a medical reimbursement plan, where your corporation pays you for all out of pocket medical expenses – the business gets a deduction AND you don’t have to pay taxes!
3. Changing your commuting mileage from non-deductible to deductible. This one strategy alone is worth hundreds, even thousands, of dollars in tax deductions in just one year, each and every year. Making a thirty mile daily commute deductible can put $1,000 a year or more in your pocket! I showed this to one of my small business owners and they saved $7,500 over two years! From just one strategy!
4. Writing off part of the cost of your home. We have all heard of the home office deduction, but the rules are tricky – Learn how to get by the IRS’s radar.
5. 100% tax free medical insurance for you and your family whether you are considered ‘self-employed’ or not, whether your business has a profit or not.
And the list goes on and on! This is just the tip of the iceberg.
Which business owner would you rather be?
1. Shmoe: the hard working but ignorant business owner, paying his taxes each year with anger and resentment, grumbling all the way to bankruptcy, or
2. Joe: the hard working and smart business owner, laughing all the way to the bank as he deposits all the money he has saved on taxes.
Every dollar you save in taxes is like giving yourself a raise – when was the last time you gave yourself a raise?
So, how do you go from a Shmoe to a Joe? You could read the miles of tax code (the IRS Code and Regulations is equivalent to 39 King James Bibles) all written in an almost impossible to understand language that I call ‘legal-ese’, or

Are you a victim of any of these . . .
Six Popular Small Business Tax Myths
1. Myth: “I only have to worry about my taxes on April 15th.”
Truth: You need to, at least, be aware of your tax situation every single day. You should talk to your tax professional before any major transaction, purchase or sale. That’s where the tax planning opportunities are, before the transaction. At the same time, once Midnight, December 31st rolls around, your opportunity for tax planning for that year are severely limited. Good tax planning happens before the end of the year.
2. Myth: “I don’t make enough money to worry about how much I pay in taxes.”
Truth: It doesn’t matter how much or how little money you make. Unless you have zero taxable income, you can always find a way to pay less in taxes. As an added benefit, if your business has suffered a loss this year, you can use that loss to offset other sources of income. And, if your loss is big enough to wipe out all your income and then some, you may be able to use that loss to offset income from other years!
3. Myth: “Taxes are too complicated for me to understand how to save money.”
Truth: There are plenty of simple, easy to use tax reduction strategies available to you and every other American, especially if you are a small business owner. All you need is for someone to tell you what they are and how they apply to you. That is where the e-book, My Tax Tutor for Small Business Owners comes in.
4. Myth: “A CPA (or accountant or tax professional) prepared my taxes, so I am guaranteed to have paid the least amount of taxes possible.”
Truth: I have only one word to say to this, “Baloney!” There are many hard working accountants and tax professionals out there preparing returns, but that is all they are doing – preparing your return from the information you have given them. There is no tax planning involved here. And when is the last time they volunteered some tax saving advice? How much time have you spent with them lately, talking about how much you could save on your taxes?
5. Myth: “My tax situation is under control because my mother (father, grandma, aunt, uncle, next door neighbor or best friend) prepares my taxes.”
Truth: See answer to #4 above. Plus, if they are not a tax professional, you have no guarantee what-so-ever that your taxes are even being prepared correctly even if you have not been audited. That only means that you have not been caught, yet.
6. Myth: “I do my own return, so I know it is fine.”
Truth: See #4 & #5 above. How do you know it is right? How do you know that you have taken every single deduction and credit to which you are entitled? Especially if you own your own business – this is where the tax laws get exceedingly more complicated.
I recently amended two years tax returns for a new client. He had been preparing his own return for years. They started a new business and he continued to do his own returns. Then he got concerned that he wasn’t doing it correctly. I looked over his last couple year’s returns, and he was right – he wasn’t doing it correctly. Just by going back and amending two years, I got him a refund of OVER $9,000! That was $9,000 he had put in Uncle Sam’s pocket that would have stayed there if it hadn’t been for me.
